A Bit Late!

Hi there,

so it may be nearly a month since I have last blogged but I have been super busy!

On Friday I had to go to Newcastle straight from school with one of my best friends because it was her birthday on Saturday and she was having a party at her dads with most of her family. It was really good fun and I had a really good time. After the party I slept over at her dads with her and then in the morning we went rock climbing. I had a super time and after we went to a restaurant by ourselves and had pizza. It was really yummy!

After that we set off back to her mums house, which is where she lives most of her time. When we got to her mums we helped set up for her party which was going to be later on with all her friends. At the party we played rounders and I met some new people and became friends with a few. Most of us slept over at her house after her party in a tent which was really fun but cold!

On Sunday morning I stayed at my friends house until about 11, then my dad picked me up and we went back home. At home my auntie and uncle were here and I had not seen them in a very long time. We went on a walk and had an ice-cream because it was a really nice day. It was really nice to see them and I will be seeing them in about 2 weeks again because of my sister. I was so tired from the party when we got home I went to sleep for about 2 hours!

I am writing this on a Tuesday and tomorrow is my sisters birthday. Not only is it her birthday but she is going to be 18! I can't believe she is going to be that age. Tonight I am making her a cake and helping my mum and dad put up some balloons and banners! She is having her party/get together in about a week and we are having after-noon tea with all her friends and family! I can't wait to see most of my family again!

Okay so I seemed to have written a lot so I think I will stop now.

Busy Bee!

Hi there,

so long time, no see. Please don't kill me! I have just been really busy that's all.

So on Monday I had to go to my sister's music concert thing, which was alright but it went on quite late. My sister did a solo at the concert and did really well! The rest of the concert was really good but the best part was the ice-cream at the interval!

One of my best friends birthday is this week on Saturday (2nd May) and his party is the week after. For his birthday my dad is making him a ukulele which I think is super cool! My best friend is really good at the ukulele and loves playing it so the present is ideal! I have known this friend since I was 2 and we have been close ever since!

On the 2nd May it is also my granddad's birthday (and David Beckham's) and he would be 81 however he died when I was 2. I miss and love him a lot because I was really close to him, even at a small age, and we used to go and feed the ducks near his house and do much more together. My mum also says that i am a lot like him and that he would be very proud of me! Like him, I am a good runner and do it because I like it but also because he never had that chance to do what I can do because his dad couldn't afford the running club he got asked to join. Even though he is not here anymore, I know he is always looking down at me from heaven and will always be in my heart forever!<3<3

On a happier note, apparently the Queen is coming to where I live also on Saturday! Also one of my other best friends, who is also a boy, has his boxing championships and I really hope he wins! He is really good and I am hopefully going to watch him in the morning!

I think I have rambled on long enough!

Bridesmaid!

Hi there,

I haven't uploaded a blog in ages so I thought, why not do one now?

Anyway, today I had to go and have my dress fitted for my cousin's wedding. It is a great fit but a tad too long so the lady is going to shorten it slightly. My dress is a very light, silvery colour, has quite big straps, simple and is floor length. At first I thought I wouldn't look good with it on however it looks great(well that's what everyone said!). My cousin's wedding is in 7 weeks and I am really excited to go! She is having 4 bridesmaids and I am the youngest out of them. All of our dresses match and look really good together. The colour scheme my cousin wanted was grey and at first I thought it wouldn't go but it actually does.

After we had done that, we all went back to my aunties house until half two. At half two we set off for after-noon tea. We were going there for my cousin's hen-do/early birthday party. It was really good food and very tasty. That took quite along time so after that we set off back home. They live about an hour and a bit away from us so it wasn't to far to drive.

Tomorrow my other auntie and uncle are coming to ours and I haven't seen them in a while so it will be good to see them.

Ugggghhh SCHOOL!

Hi there,

I thought I would write another blog today because guess what?! School started again for the summer term! We also started on a Tuesday which was really weird. I don't mind school, it's just the part of getting up in the morning and doing the boring subjects that I will drop as soon as I can. I mean when am I ever going to use my knowledge that potassium is more reactive than sodium when I am older! I'm never going to use it. 

Some upsides to going back to school after a 2 weeks off is that I get to see quite a lot of my friends that I didn't meet up with or see during the holiday. It's always fun catching up with people you haven't seen in a while and asking them about what they did.

We also had Aiming High assembly today(it's a thing my school do!) and we had to watch this clip about Nick Vujicic. He is this inspirational speaker that goes around different schools and tells them about struggles that he has had to face. You see Nick isn't your everyday inspirational speaker, he was born with no limbs(no arms/legs). The little clip we watched showed him talking about how he had to try over 100 times just to stand up after he had fallen over. When he was younger he had to wait for someone to pick him up and help him stand but he told himself that he was going to learn how to get up on his own. He can get up on his own now but he was just telling us how if we want something and fail at first not to give up because if we give up we will never achieve what we started out trying to do.

Hello New World!

Hi there,

I have decided to start writing a blog(obviously!).

This blog.

You may be asking, why have you started this blog?

Well I have never written anything like this before and wanted to start something new. I once tried writing a diary(journal) but I gave up after about a week. I wrote bits and bobs, here and there when I was younger,like what I did that day or what I had for breakfast, and I always love just flicking through an old notebook and seeing little entries that I wrote. I would read them and remember stuff from when I was little and this is where the idea of a blog came in.

I love YouTube and reading other peoples blogs and my mum is always saying, "You should give it a try and see what you could do!" but I never really thought about it until now. I finally decided that I will write a blog and that when I am older I can find it and read all about what I did when I was younger.

Anyway, this blog will just be about random days in my week,my thoughts and me sharing part of my life with you. Each blog will have a picture attached to it, I took all these pictures by myself and hope you enjoy them. This is going to be a crazy adventure for both of us because no one knows what this will lead to. I hope you tag along and we can face this adventure together.
